ABOUT EACS
The East African Community In Scotland was founded in April 2000 in Edinburgh Scotland by representative of the East African Countries living in Scotland. Currently it consists of eight countries- Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republics of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania. The current Chairperson is Kissa Bale from Uganda.
EACS is a non-political, non-religious committed to serve all East African Communities in Scotland and their partners regardless of religion, age, sex, handicap, disability, immigration and marital status.
